And, as soon as I complain, a perfect Rainbow Machine appears on Reverb for less than the one that fell through. Praise be the GAS lords.

It'll be a while until I get a proper chance. There's a new demo on youtube of it though. Apparently it has a single ge. tranny and an op-amp chip. I've wanted a fixed wah like that for a while.HorseyBoy wrote:^^ Real interested to see what you think of the Magnetic Effects Double Feature, Ro_S!
I alreday have the Magnetic Effects Buzzkill. It has two ge. T3088710 trannies at Q2 & Q3, and an op-amp chip at Q1. It's a great fuzz.
I'd happily have all the pedals Magnetic Effects does.

This thing is a beast! I have never had a pedal retain this much low end. I think it may actually be adding lows to my signal. I'm glad the fuzz itself is plenty bassy because I am not a fan of the mix knob so far. It seems to cut the low fuzz signal and just add a fizzy hiss to the clean signal, even if I turn the mix down just the slightest amount. The tone knob is a little weird too. Maxed out is super dark and at the lowest point, its all highs. This is one that I'll have to fine tune in a band setting. I can't tell if there's a mid scoop at the bassiest setting, or if it's just SO LOW and then it has the octave up thing, so it just seems to be scooped. Trying to find a setting that works by itself and with my Mini. But of course, the kid got sleepy as soon as I plugged in. I'm pretty pleased with this purchase overall.

I'll see what I can do. It'll just be phone recordings, but maybe it will still convey how awesome this thing is. I have a feeling that upper octave will get lost in the mix, but Im hoping that the lower one will punch through Hulk style.

Plus one on Prescription. A bit of a sleeper brand. I am happy with the Experience I picked up. Nice capable fuzz, buzzy as fuck octave [I mean that in the best way possible, it can go from nasty to musical or musically nasty] and the swell effect which is surprisingly fun.Uncle Grandfather wrote:congrats! i'm pretty smitten by my new prescription electronics face lift. hopefully some clips of the depth charge?neonblack wrote:In: Prescription Electronics Depth Charge!

Think I may have given myself some tinnitus with it, though…I've never had ear ringing, and since I got that I've had some persistent high pitch ringing...which really kind of blows...
