You should rent one. That's what I'm gonna do. Effectordie has them. Its like 40 bucks for a week, which is a little steep, but at least you'll know if you like it.

Ring Thing showed up a few days ago and I was not prepared for how much I would like it. The easy ringmod tuning and presets really push it over the top.

can somebody explain wtf? this is the guts of the prescription electronics face lift. i hooked up the pedal and was playing for about 20 seconds when the battery crapped out, so i opened it up to change the battery and there was no battery??? Just this large cap. why is it so big??? thanks.

Well, caps are basically batteries and that guy is fuckin' massive; it's entirely possible those twenty seconds were just the capacitor discharging.

that's what i figured too about those 20 seconds, but i don't understand why he would use such a hugh one? i've never come across such a beast before.
