If I lived anywhere near there I would be all over that.

Ugh. Jump on it or I will. I don't really have anywhere to put it but so do want. Yonkers isn't far from me.

He's also got a 74 Ampeg B25B and an '86 JCM800 for sale, I think. Not sure if he has those listed on CL though.

Nice. That's not too too far. I have some buddies in florida. That's worth getting.

If you can make connections with Jake for gear, I'd do it. He's always hunting down cool stuff and he fixes up amps as well. Plus, he's just a nice guy. I donated a blown up Concert Bass I had to him once, just so he could practice fixing vintage Sunn amps.

I feel ya, I'm in the middle of my spring gear cleaning. On a spree of selling off all the stuff I haven't played in over a year, because with a baby on the way I'm saving all my extra money for unexpected medical expenses and all that, trying to keep our debt to a minimum. So any and all gear I want has to be paid exclusively from selling off stuff. I need to consolidate anyway, I have a Fender PRRI that is practically mint that I have almost never played, I've been loaning out my Beta Bass for almost 6 months. Meanwhile I've been meaning to buy materials for a few different guitar, bass and cab builds for about almost a year and I need mic cables for an upcoming recording project I'm getting paid for, because after 10 years a few finally crapped out. I want to replace one of my basses and I have no guitar for standard tuning anymore. I gotta sell more shizz and take more side jobs.

I remember those days when I sold gear to get more or better gear. also helped back in the day I had close to 30 guitars and now I'm down to about 13 or 15. I'm extremely thankful I've developed an following for my paintings so that really pays for my gear nowadays. Regular work is just saved and used on bills which is pretty minimal.
