There's a Peavey Butcher at the East Brunswick, NJ Guitar Center for $299.

There's gonna be something wrong with it for that price

That's really just a fair price for the butcher/vtm line.

If I get that, I would need a new cab, wouldn't I? I only have a 1x12.

I think this qualifies as a doom room problem.

Emmy Delta 12a rated at 400 watts. I'd want at least a 2x but you could do it.

Eh I'm in the exact same boat. I got a Butcher a couple weeks ago, only had a 1x12 (sold it the other day woo woo) and gonna just stroll into GC this weekend and test out a XXX 4x12 and 5150 4x12 and probably buy one for about $200. Otherwise I'm just trolling for deals.

$200 for an Acoustic folded horn is a really good deal. I think I picked up my old one for like $240 and I felt that was a good deal.

Yeah that's how much it's supposed to cost. Performance value-wise, sure it's worth more because there are other amps that cost more and aren't any better. However, part of the radness about Butchers is that they are $300 tube amps. Take that away and you have less rad.
