You've just described a Ghost Effects Warmjet V. Definitely gnarly and unique and can do the singy-sustain thing like a Muff but it cuts WAY better in a band setting. Way better range, too. I'm about to replace the Muff (a SUF Violet Ram's Head) and Mk I on my board with a Warmjet.

Just placed an order for a couple of records, I guess RSD has sparked some needs, so these are incoming:

Notwist - Close To The Glass
Yo La Tengo - Fade
- both of these are current faves on constant streaming, so I thought I'd get the real thing

The Men - Immaculada & Leave Home
- I was pleased to see these were available. Love the early records by these guys, long standing fave in the playlists as well. (I have a more recent, folky album too, and that is crappy.)

Kepler - Attic Salt
- I loved Fuck Fight Fail, so this is something of a remeniscence buy. Hope it's good.

Sounds like a great suggestion.

I agree with Horsey, the Warmjet V is awesome, my favourite classic fuzz, it's so unique!
A Tone Bender MKI and/or Buzzaround / Dizzy Tone would also be great options worth considering I think. :)

Also the Pep Box! Simple controls but super effective, and probably one of my new favorites

Incomin': Mojo Hand Crosstown.

Figured If I'm finally getting a fuzz face, it might as well be a tweakable si/ge hybrid with moar gain:)

I'm longing for both of these. Want the Pep with optional 'tone' control. Yours have that feature Chank or just standard?

I just built one of Ian's Pep kits with the Tone Control, it's super useful and beefs things up if you want them beefy!

I've got the regular ol' two knobber.

I agree a tone control'd be super useful. The Pep Box can be very trebly at times. I've solved that problem by running a darker sounding pedal after it, whether another gain device or an EQ or something.

I'll have to record a demo of mine with the tone control sometime soon. Currently waiting for knobs to come in so I can finish it up
