What are the differences between the various iterations of the Singing Tree?

There's the three-knob classic:


The special edition three-cream-knob woodgrain:


The other three-black-knob woodgrain:


The four-knob woodgrain:

I've seen talk of the Singing Tree LE, but I don't know if that's one of the ones above or something different.

Are the three-knob classic and three-knob woodgrain the same?
Is the old four-knob the same as the four-knob woodgrain?
Is the new two-knob the same as the three-knob, just without the gain control? Is it like the three-knob with the gain maxed?

Hopefully Eric or someone else will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it goes something like this...

The 3-knob classic and the 3-knob woodgrain are the same.
The Singing Tree LE is most likely referring to the 2-knob w/ toggle model.
The old 4-knob and woodgrain 4-knob are the same. The 4-knob is the same circuit as the 3-knob with an added tone control.
The new (party favor) 2-knob Singing Tree has a volume control and a threshold control. The circuit is voiced like a 3-knob version with the gain control at approx. 3 o'clock.

pretty much all right, except the party favor threshhold knob is a dualgang pot so it it also controls input volume a little too. and the 4 knob version is older and has a different gain control (and tone control)

LE with the toggle switch is 3 way gain toggle

they all are very similar. warm chewy overdive, just different control and gain methods

Simply called "overdrive" by Singing Tree FX, which later became Mellowtone.

I believe the one pictured (#13) is the last one of this type made, or at least that's what Eric told me when I ordered it.
