That's a pretty interesting idea. Or just selling the baffles since some people can't make those odd cuts. who knows.

I'll bring my camera today with me.

It's the reason I started posting here.

Conky that's great.

mpsa01 that's sweet where's a link to those Mountain Amps I tried finding them before and came up with nothing.

I think that's the only web presence that the dude has. He's awesome to deal with and the cab sounds killer.

Cool deal thanks. I always love checking out other amp companies as a makeshift gear porn addiction.

That's is an awesome idea. Surely someone has thought about it already and found too many flaws in it? It sounds too good to be true.

There are flatpack kits out there, just maybe not of the variety we're interested in. I think it's just a matter of that most people with the ability and motivation to even assemble a flatpack, would just as soon make a whole cab. You'd have to move a lot of volume or have a really good connection for wholesale prices on materials to make it worth selling kits like that. Especially with all the shipping hassle. Someone who already has another business where they're doing simple C&C work with plywood could probably pull it off easily with a decent profit margin. I used to work at a sign shop and used a 2D C&C machine to make signage (backing boards for printed stuff and redwood carving mostly) and thought about programming up some designs for cabs. It would have been super easy, but I was out of there before I could ever try it. I can make them in our shop at work and get plywood at wholesale, but I'd have to do it the old fashioned way and it would be a huge pain in the ass to try to sell them I think. I've had some plans for my own cabs and some for friends lined up for almost a year, but just haven't had the free time to actually order wood and start making them. Last thing I did was make a new baffle to turn chillerthanmost's Marshall 8x10 into a 4x12. I have wood, templates and plans sitting around for all kinds of stuff I haven't gotten to since then.

Yeah, it would be a huge undertaking and probably wouldn't be economically viable unless it was a subsidiary to already well-established business.

Probably from the tears he shed when everyone was railing him for asking advice then shitting on it and then talking shit in the catch all thread.

It's actually a receipt.
And talking shit and having an opinion are two separate things.

I don't see memes as railing.
I can pick and choose what advice to take.
That's why it's advice and not an order.

I don't play stoner doom, none of that stoner doom shit applies to my interests.
