Blood Duster is some great grind from down under. One of the few bands that can be humorous and I can still enjoy. How they are dressed up in there is part of the joke. another funny thing... Blood Duster is about as old as Deicide. deicide formed in 89. Blood Duster in 91.

total track suit death metal. i admire the response, but somehow i still find it within myself to deny any awesomeness to anything about that.

i guess i missed the joke. also missed the band too apparently. i got into death metal in the early 90's but i've never heard blood duster til today. i've never really listened to much jokey metal stuff.

WHAT SLK SAID. Watch it again, don't take it serious-like. The song is called Porn Store Stiffi after all. Its about masturbating in the porno shop so you don't have to pay for that shit and take it home.
As was mentioned, NOBODY has heard of them outside Oz (except my man up here), so don't feel so bad.

i don't know if you're talking about the man-o-war poster, the topless chick on the motorcycle (which isn't mine and i just realized was in this pic, blame the drummer) or my rig/pedal board. but they're all pretty awesome if you ask me.

Thanks Iommic, yea when Relapse Records picked them up and re-released Yeest and Fisting the Dead I just enjoyed the fuck out of them. I also got ST8 Outta Northcote. They were one of those bands that had tongue in cheek material and most of it was in the lyrics you couldn't make out cause the music side was pretty serious. The only joke music parts I really recall was on that ST8 album that was itsjustsofuckingmetal which was a traditional gallop metal tune with no vocals. and the track itsjustnotmetal and it was literally a guitar doing that Godsmack song that got them big that was just a JUNJUN palm mute for practically the whole song.

misterstomach fair enough. I never fault anyone for changing tastes. I think it's cause my tastes were always so vast and open only later on I actually got more closed minded I guess you can say. But like with OSDM I can eat up anything released, but with other styles like indie rock, post rock, skramz so on and so forth... I'm far more particular but if I hear it and I like it I buy it. I think the only things I really haven't cared anything for in a long time is stoner rock with clean singing.. just seems too samey for me nowadays and I hate most of the retro bands that have came out i the last 5 years the last one I enjoyed was the Sword. Oh and I really don't like melodic deathmetal esp the kind that mixes it with modern groove shit.

Carcass I feel their earlier stuff was more grind but currently they are just a death metal band. I really only listen to Reek and Symphonies from them anymore. I only think Reek was grind. Symphonies was just some sick sounding death metal.

I Can attest to the sheer sonic goodness of that rig. Finally Gave Tony the Druden shirt I got for him at his birthday shindig a week ago and he was stoked btw.

The wife's been off work all week as she did 60 miles in the 24 hour pacific rim race last weekend, she took a few days off to recover and goes back to work tomorrow.

That's an awesome achievement.

we've actually moved practice spaces recently since that pic was taken. no sure what happened to the lady on the motorcycle pic, but i'm pretty sure it's in a poster tube with all of our other stuff, including an awesome smiths poster that i had up in there. i'll look into it and see if i can find it. it's just a photo copy, so i could maybe make another one that would turn out good. it's weird, i'm totally not at all the type of dude who's into to posters of topless chicks in the practice space, or in general anywhere. i'm not a frat boy douche bag. nor am i especially into the whole chicks on motorcycles thing. but somehow, that one poster is so classy and the lady looks so awesome that i found myself being totally cool with it. i kind of miss her actually since we moved. if i find it and manage to make a copy i will seek your address.
