I just picked up a superego (finally)...wanted one since they came out too. It's surprisingly versatile, and I'm still figuring out what sounds I can get out of it. So far I've gotten the freeze and gliss sounds (of course), but now I'm experimenting with swells (you can get really obnoxious p&W style volume swells in momentary mode with the speed set back) and throwing stuff in the loop (tremolessence set to a choppy square wave sound is awesome). Can't wait to see what superego + randy's revenge will be able to pull offmonkeydancer wrote:Yeah me too. Wanted one since they were announced and never got round to it for some dumb reason. It's not even like they're that steep, I'd impulse grab one off the bay right now but I got bills to pay tomorrow.GardenoftheDead wrote:Still want an EHX Freeze.
Also, major GAS for a subdecay quantum quasar or starlight. Soon as I decide which I want I'll probably go for it! Love the waveform options in such tiny pedals.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Just got an EQD Hummingbird today. lots of fun sounds to be had within. also, still loving my new SSStampede.
Now the hard part begins. New bass fuzz. I'm currently trying to decide between a TAFM, Malekko Diabolik, and a Mountainking Heavy Machine. This may be a lot to ask, but I need a sharp, precise fuzz-tortion that can cut through and still maintain the crushing low end. My SSStampede does everything my muff does but better, so I have the saturated mean fuzz, and it can get trashy with the starve, I have a mini for some od, and my gloom drive is better for higher register stuff. Now I just need to complete the arsenal.

It's the one with the modular plates. I'm just glad it has the soft case instead of the hard, otherwise it wouldn't even be worth moving.

Gone:
MIA Standard Jazz V
Line6 M13
Coming:
Warwick Corvette 6 string
Strymon TimeLine
I was supposed to sell these items to "downgrade" and free up some cash, which I sort of did. I got the Warwick for a lot less than I sold the jazz for (heck I sold the jazz for more than I bought it for). And the timeline wasn't much more than what I got for the m13. I'm excited to add a second 'Wick to my stable and finally sip the Strymon koolaid.

I know nothing about basses but I've always liked how those corvettes look.

Oooooh baby so this happened. I got a GB24 a year ago to quench my Particle lust, but the lust could not be stopped. Totally different beasts, too. Love so many things about it already. (sounds great with Rhodes

What am I GASing for right now? I need a Radial Tonebone PZ Pre and a Diamond Memory Lane Jr. I'd also love to pick up a SuperEgo, a Reverberator, and a Tremolessence. Also need something fuzzy but I'm not sure on that yet. Probably a Shiva or something muffy. But funds... lame. Well, my birthday is only 3 months off so music gear funds will probably not be available until then.
