In a drunken stuper I think I'd destroy all my toys if I had a switch like that :thumb:
 :thumb:
it would be though...

It reminds me of Shane Embury talking about the pre switch in his BC Rich that would blow up amps because they made it too powerful

The standard electronics are vol, PU selector, and master tone correct?

I've seen a few Afterburner models with a toggle switch... whatts that lil bugger do?

WAT DOES IT DOOOO???
Dude. I bought one, like it a little, flipped it, haven't looked back.

The toggle is passive, active switch. That's it.

This thread however is fucked up to me http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/overd ... -a-974826/. This guy not only clones everything he can get his hands on, but apparently he sells the clones too. How do I know he sells them? Well here's the proof. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f213/barb ... ne-991231/

It occurs to me that tracing another persons circuit is probably hard work, it occurs to me that building the pedals is hard work, but it also occurs to me that he's profiting off of other people's designs and that's a dick move in my book.

I do have a Megalith clone that he traced (didn't build) and it sounds almost identical. I bought it more out of curiosity. Anyone that's watched my purchasing and selling habits knows I've owned like 5 Megaliths. Haha.

My point is this is the same as copy someone's board or original design. What have you. Am I alone in thinking this is wrong???
There seems to be a lot of debate on the morality of cloning pedals, I've seen brief talks on here I think? Anywho we have guys on here who do the same shit and honestly to a much higher degree. I personally don't know how I feel, but I will say that if you keep your prices reasonable then people won't need to buy cheaper clones, they could just buy the real deal. I think that's the main appeal with people cloning Klons and the such is that the price for the real thing is overblown
My main problem is in the blatant disregard for the builder. He clones shit and then does his best to make the graphics look the same. No renaming or anything. That's fucked up to me. I don't know.

I mean, maybe I'm taking it too far by bringing it up. It just bothers me.
