I very much enjoyed this series.

Also, those dudes on horses looked like KKK to me. I noticed them in that Ep. and I thought it was just showing how backward some of the places Rust and Cole went to.

yeah they kinda did look like kkk.

but they also kinda looked like the same guys from the VHS. the masks and shit.

pretty cool finale.good balance of fan pleasing/tying up loose ends without being completely disrepectful to the previous episodes

i thought it was a dumb title at first but i dont even think about it. think about how many stupid goddamn band names there are out there...bands that are making good ass music tho

I haven't seen this thing but based on how people talk about it, I'm guessing it's like Twin Peaks divided by Lost. Is that about right?

the whole jumping around in time thing thing, that's really common. way more in cinema than tv, i suppose. the show never reminded me of lost and i was a big fan, saw all 9,500 episodes. even the bad ones that were deliberate dick teases.

the bayou setting is a big part of the show being great.
just the character rust and the way they wrote him is my favorite thing about the show.

i definitely thought of twin peaks a few times while watching it.

Who is gonna follow the lead actors next season? The bar was set so high. Great finale.

I'm wondering, what, if any, of the show will carry over to next. I imagine the back and forth timeline thing will be part of it, but I don't think that they can do that season for season, concluding in a relatively present day, and keep the show interesting without the novelty wearing off.

Now onto game of throne recapping.
