The Doom Room: ILF Edition

Timm: dude love on the BF and Rev Superbass.
Stack those two, dial the rev in so that the top two knobs are about 10 o'clock and dimed, bottom knob is volume (dial to taste, but works better when dimed or close to), BF (in order left to right, top then bottom rows) at max or to taste, 2:00, 3-5:00, fac on 2nd, vol not exceeding midday (as it will clip too much for the rev).
Thems my personal fave settings.

Also, anyone know if the malekko omicron fuzz is close enough to the FZ2 to consider it?

I like the options on the Malekko. Not sure If I'd want that switch and trimpot option on the fly, or if I could set it and forget...I am ADD with the toans...until I find the sweet spots.

Yeah, I dunno. Considering Mehringer just photocopy and reproduce shit all day long, they manage to get a surprisingly large amount of critical detail wrong.
Not sure if I'm ready to tread that path again....but shelling out $160 for a used pedal is stupidity also....

Deafheaven doesn't suck, just over hyped. Their two albums are good but for some reason they got picked up by the media as an awesome band that everyone should love. And so a lot of people who would not be into the music go to the shows and "love" the music and really just bring down the experience of being at the show. I like the band and sunbather is good but certainly not the spectacular level that all the blogs and other media have trumpeted it to be as a must have album.

This. Their first demo is my favorite, the next album is next, and sunbather is interesting the first listen but to me gets old quick.

THANK YOU! This band has nothing to do with black metal. They sound closer to Envy or City of Caterpillar. While I enjoy both of those bands, Deafheaven does not resonate with me at all.

Oh City of Caterpillar..... such mixed feelings about that band. Love the music but Kevin Longendyke was such a fucking dick to me growing up that its hard to get over. I saw him at the Pg.99 reunion show a couple years ago for the first time since high school and he hadn't changed, such a disappointment as he's a great musician and we never really had any real reason to be enemies. Other then he thought I was a "poser" for listening to Korn AND Neurosis in the mid 90's.

Just watched the season 1 closer- Highly recommended. It's a really cool show- Melvins tunes in episode 4 and good music choices throughout.

Duuude.... I looked up the specs and they have a 35hz-20khz freq response and 106db sensitivity..... 106db!!!!

No wonder they're so freakin loud....

Scored both Towers, the powered mixer, two shure mics and a bunch of cables for $400.
