That's my Traynor YBA-3. I recently re-grilled it with original Traynor grill cloth:

Having some money would help. :grumpy: I'd been hoping to trade my 8-string for a Carvin/Mesa setup that would at least give me some half-stack power, but I've not heard back from the guy in a while. I'd really like to get a decent clean EL34 half-stack and a Verellen Meatsmoke pre - that ought to give me enough flexibility to be going on with for a little while.

Right there with you man.
I'm gritting my teeth to get through this year, hopefully Nick is ready to start my build when I'm all done with Uni and I can get some cash moving for this gear stuff. That would be perfect timing.
Until then though, I got the prospect of awesome to pull me through.
I'm still 50/50 on what options I want/what's gonna work best for my playing style, but those are the fun details I can nut out as we go.
I have decided on one thing though, which will baffle everyone else but please DoS....

I don't want green tolex.

I think I've seen that room in one or two Bay Area CL ads recently. Looking good, man. I've always wanted a super lead or super bass. Preferably an early one.

Speaking of tiny ass amps I used a Micro Terror today with a 1x12 and drowned out the bassist which is hilarious
