This is definitely one of those sports where I think it would be way fucking better to win bronze than silver. Sure you get a silver medal which is seriously cool, but you still lost.

Ugh, that stupid fucking riot. I was at the game that caused that, and it was NOT hockey fans who were responsible. It was a bunch of hooligans who went to downtown Vancouver with the express intent of causing a riot, win or lose. Hockey fans don't go to games with molotov cocktails and crowbars with them, assholes do. I got briefly caught up in the riot on my walk between the rink and the skytrain (Vancouver's above-ground subway), and I just wanted to get the hell away from it as soon as possible. I still haven't been to a Canucks game since then, not sure that I will anytime soon either. That experience sucked.MEC wrote:YAY!
