Aw man don't say that, now I want one again

Now time to decide on a new OD, it's either a Mini or Darkglass Vintage Microtubes
Haha, I just sold a mini to get that ILFDD off of you.
I would definitely recommend one.
I didn't compare it to a Fuck, but I loved it.
Definitely one of my favorite overdrives I've used.
All my bassist friends didn't really like the mini, though.
So there's also that, if you're a bassist.

Haven't tried the microtubes, but like.
Minis are rad as hell. :thumb:
I am a bassist. And you've just made up my mind :thumb:

FWIW, I love my fuck on bass and a lot of people on here seem to dog the mini on bass, especially because of the dedicated knob

Yeah, I kept looking at the demos and felt like Raptio and me might get along better. The Raptio demos always felt musical, just a glitchy progressive take on music. The Possessed demos seem like the kind of thing I would have fun with, but may lead to an album entitled "music to torture your friends with" or "music for visual artists to listen to intensely"

That picture in the post above this one is beautiful, btw...

elevenstrings wrote:it's fun. It's basically "Glitch" mode from the reVolver. There's a mix for the instrument signal and the effect signal, the rate knob controls the speed of the repeats (the width of the sample seems fixed). The Switch flips between Glitch and Hold, with Hold being pretty much the same as an EHX Freeze pedal. Both modes are momentary (there is no on/off with the stomp), so in order to have the effect on you have to keep your foot on it.

There is a hidden white LED under the rate knob, so you get a very faint back glow when your foot is on it. I didn't even notice it until I played it at night.
I was thinking about getting the Raptio because that's basically what I use my Revolver for 95% of the time, but the more I think about it the more it seems kind of redundant because i would never sell the revolver anyway
Have to pick up a possessed one day though...

yeah, IMO the Mini slays on bass, as with guitar. I'm not as educated on bass toanz as I am on guitar though. But it's a crime not to own a Mini. Best pedal.

UG thats an awesome haul! Let us know what you think of the Sandstorm, i'm on the notification list for when he has them back in stock. Probably gonna end up buying it.

Awesome :!!!: two oscillators, two theremins, a hand held box the you literally shake and it makes noises that sound like heaven being tossed around in a metal box. It has a button to engage it, so you can do on/off rhymthic type noises with it too. The bottom of the box has a magnetic tape head that you rub over that large raised black rectangle which is actually tape that has recorded chaos on it.

The other is an envelope controlled white noise generator, or just always on white noise. I love me some white noise.

Oh yeah, I totally agree with this.
I thought it sounded killer when I played bass through it, but I'm not a bassist.
A mini is a great great thing to own, and you won't feel bad owning one.

Just got a Blue Box via blooghost. Shit is blue as fuck.

I've idly wanted one of these forever. I made some incredibly synthy textures by running it into other fuzz pedals.

That's because number 3 is on its way to my house! :omg:
And I finally received my Mochika XL (ordered it at the beginning of Dec.) from darkest Peru.
