How do you guys have the patience for custom orders!?!?!

I'm not too worried about the time table, and I have the entire amount ready. So it's really just a waiting game on my end. My intent is to work on a bunch of music and hopefully some more shows between now and then so I can hopefully use it for summer shows

Their bodies bolt on, so you can potentially have more than one body.... They also explained that they can design these so that the neck plugs into the body sort of like a pedal, so you could have the same neck but have totally different control schemes in the bodies if so desired.

I've custom ordered everything from amps to pedals to guitars and the wait is always pretty brutal. My EGC was by far the worst at just over a year. I think the key is don't custom order something you need right away or can't do without. That way you can use the shit you've always used and attempt to forget about the custom order on occasion, easing the pain of waiting.

I put a down payment on a customized Verellen Meatsmoke last night. We are still working out the color details to see if he can do what I am asking and for a reasonable price. I have a feeling it will be more than I want to spend. But, he quoted me a 6-8 week build time nonetheless. So, it will be a long 2 months.

i agree. i have an order with Harvester and I was gonna pay it off really early but i decided to spend the money on other crap so i'd just be distracted stressing about being able to afford it rather than feeling entitled to a completed instrument as soon as possible

On March 3rd it will be my one year anniversary waiting for a pedal... yeah a single pedal. I am pretty patient, but I am kinda on my last leg at this point... I am totally turned off custom shit. Maybe if I was some famous recording artist I would have had it by now... I was actually told that he totally forgot and that it fell off his radar, of course he meant it in the nicest way possible, but still. Geesh.
