Yeah, complete opposite for me. When I'm by myself, I can write a song and be done with it, outside of some small tweaks I make while mixing and such. But with the band, never fucking calling something DONE is the biggest source of friction we have. And since we're a 2-piece it's rough because it's not like we can outnumber each other and vote them down.behndy wrote:

thing is, and i am sooooooo lucky with this. but that's how it happens almost every time at home. so far whenever we're in Writing Mode me and Paul finish stuff. we've ditched 2 or 3 of our early songs that were shit, so we have a section from each in the Riff Bank, but almost all of our "hey what about that one thing?" chunks are from me rambling alone and not being able to finish.
CHANKGY GET IT.
But I'm really hesitant to just break it up and work on my own, because JO is a really close friend, but also because he's much better at mixing/recording than I am, and he's a fucking master with creating synth patches and drum beats.

Bongo>Poly-Grace>PitchFactor=
Really enjoying the 6th string so far. That Bongo's Tonez are meaty, oh so meaty. I like the wide, flat neck a lot. Of course it is good to have my old pedals Poly-Grace and PF back.

My half would have lame beats and preset patches from a synth. His half would never be finished.D.o.S. wrote:Get your Jesu On, release a split EP with your bandmate?bigchiefbc wrote:Yeah, complete opposite for me. I actually don't think I've ever heard his EPs, just the full albums.

http://hydrahead.bandcamp.com/album/lifeline
This one is less so, but still good:

Re: The Kitten Room and TB Mega Thread ^.^
I haven't played my bass in a week. I'm so sad.
I'm sick now and don't even want to think about it, but these last few weeks I haven't been able to play and I really have wanted to. So stupid. Sickness is. Also, snow is stupid and so is poop. I have to poop a lot...because I'm sick.
Oh and I decided to get rid of my Darkglass VMT. It just does not sound as good as the B7 or B3 IMO. I thought about the Deluxe, but then I was like, what the fucks the point? I don't even like the tones I get out of the normal version. So I'm booting it and trading a homie here for a Quasar DLX, which I've been fucking gasing for a long time. UGH. Love phasers. LOVE. Love flangers too. Fuck.

Heal up homie.
I didn't play bass for quite awhile because I didn't want to, just wanted to play other instruments. I am feeling the Bass Love again though.
