Helter how do you like the chrome superdelay compared to the tape and the VMSD. I've had the latter two!

Me never tried the VMSD, so I can't compare.

I love it dude! I've never tried the VMSD but the Tape is my favorite delay ever. The tape on the chrome sounds exactly the same to my ear and the ability to have presets and all the interesting modes + looper makes it well worth it.

@Syl, thanks dude! Love yours as well. I always love how your board seems like it's capable of any genre. Not to mention the Demo Tape and RR always give it away
and I also have dreams of your Tele every night.

What are those gold boxes on #2?

I like that #7 has both Behringer and Strymon on it.

First one is a Ghost FX Tonebender (mki) and the second in the chain is a Lovepedal Les Lius.

6 for me, that looper is sweet. I'm amazed how few of you all are using one of those. I look at some of these boards and they are awesome, but I am not that good at tapdancing : lol:

Whereas I've never felt any compulsion to get a looper, because I have no fucking idea how I would ever use one. :idk:

I always wonder what the hell I'm missing since it seems like tons of guys around here have loopers, and I feel like I'm missing something. But I refuse to buy a pedal when I have absolutely no plan on how to use it.

Looper doesn't live on my board, nor do a few other pedals.

Jamman old big box version sits to my left with the amp footswitches and rackmount control.

As far as what to use it for, it's instant texture or layering on demand. Sometimes I use old static one-shot sample and hold rackmount stuff from the stone age, other times the freeze function on my Time Bender, but other times some level of extreme control is warranted - or freedom from practical time limitations (think I can loop six hours or something ridiculous with the memory card in it).

The boards shown here and elsewhere may not include everything everybody uses!

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

I just see some of the larger boards here and wonder how you guys manage to turn the right stuff on together. For me, I find the ability to have separate effects chains that are turned on or off together is extremely useful. I also use it to control single pedals that I can then mount anywhere on the board, but the switch is now up front and easy to step on without worrying about hitting the wrong thing.

D'OH!!

My bad. I thought you were talking about the other kind of looper, because there are like 3 dittos and a jamman on this page.

As for the bypass strips, I just honestly never wanted to sacrifice the board space, or the amount of cabling I would need to use one. Every now and then, I DO hit the wrong pedal, and then have to quickly click it off and hit the right one. It sucks, but it's just something you have to practice like anything else. As for the turning-multiple-pedals-on-and-off thing, I don't have to do that too much, at least not so fast that I can't hit them individually. But when I do, I just use a single bypass loop, either my homemade one, or an LS-2.
