yeah. we just did outlines yesterday but earth's edge at my inner elbow made me go "ooh..."

Got this on my 18th birthday. I'm going back next wednesday to get 2 pedal inspired tattoos.

Sweet FLAG tattoo mate. I got mine when I was about 20. But it was on the back of my leg. I wish I got it MORE visible.

ouch. Yeah in my experience filling usually isn't anywhere near as bad. For me it was just the dots being punched in over and over again that killed. I'm gonna go get more added to this in like April and really not looking forward to the elbow part already.

i know what i want on my shoulder down to my t shirt line, think it's a bit different style than what my usual guy excels at. like, i've never seen him do pieces that style. BUT. there's a grrL that works next to him at his studio.... is it a dick move to ask him if i can talk to her about it?

Not at all. You don't even have to ask him.

While some people prefer going to the same person, there are plenty of people who go to a different artist every time they get a tattoo. Hell, I had a tattoo done by someone and was (obviously) offered free touch ups. It took her six or seven hours to complete the tattoo and then I think one touch-up session. An apprentice in that shop opened his own and I went to HIM for a good seven hours worth of touch-ups and other tattoos. His shop is now one of the best in the city and I now go to him for everything. I will probably be seeing him again in the summer.

Although, when I get my sleeve on my right arm (whenever that may be), I'll probably go to another dude in this city who is fucking flawless at that style I want.
