I'm trying buddy! If I don't get any bites on DIYStompboxes I'll take it over to Freestompboxes

Seems like there is a lot of good stuff going on over in that thread on DIY Stompboxes. I think I'm going to reach out to the dude at GGG for a wiring diagram and go from there. If I can rule out wiring that will make me feel better!

The DIYStompboxes thread is getting me excited and motived again. I'm glad that the dude from GGG said that having the 4th chip not seated is no big deal and that it seems like a wiring issue. Gonna ask him tonight for a diagram!

Things have been slow and I'm sorry. I sent out that email to GGG to see if they might be able to help me out with a wiring diagram for the Rocktave. If I can rule out wiring as an issue I can move on to other parts of the circuit to look into

Ordered the 4th chip to socket in on the Rocktave and I'm going to try some mods that I found in the book about it to jumper the octave selection. Hoping that is the missing link or piece to the puzzle. We will see.

In other news, the DirgeDweller is still on Scott Shriner's board, which is awesome.

Lastly, been thinking of making a germanium diode only SSStampede, cause it's less noisy and it can clean up a little better. Regardless, thinking about making some SSStampede PCBs to make my life easier in the future

Re: DIRGE ELECTRONICS: Progress/Protos/Puppies
if you figure out that all germanium ssstampede could you retrofit mine?
would be neat to have the transistor options switched from two s and one g to vice versa. or does the sss stand for three silicon.

Re: DIRGE ELECTRONICS: Progress/Protos/Puppies
I've done germanium transistor ssstampedes before and they're just lower gain. I was just thinking about removing the silicon/germanium diode switch and putting germanium in instead of having an option. I could definitely add a NPN Germanium though if you wanted me to!
