Yes. Yes they do.samzadgan wrote: Pope...that sucks about the Sovtek man...hope you can get it fixed somehow. I know that stuff would be super rare down in Oz. Also, i saw your post about going to Bunnings for your pedalboard...does Bunnings still do sausage sizzle on sundays???
Here is my el cheapo board anyhow... I thought I did alright for under $20.
Thanks man. Yeah, tyranny of distance...AxAxSxS wrote: Man that sucks. I wish you lived over here and one of us could hook you up. I'm just not qualified to give long distance advice about whats going on.
HOLY SHIT SKIP!
I'm more annoyed that I couldn't work it out myself, as the whole thing was a learning exercise. I guess I just jumped in the deep end too soon. My biggest fear is the phrase "dead tranny". I have to make a tough call then. Spend the money, and potentially resell the Sovtek at a later point and lose out big on my investment, or simply stick with the old girl and not get a Dunwich. I really love the Mig, but its breaking my heart and my wallet, and if its gonna impede my Dunwich plan I will be extremely disappointed and bitter. In an ideal world I would have both, one for fog, the other for nice sparkly presence...but it is not an ideal world.
I guess we'll see what happens.
Too fucking long. I think I'm past six months now.vidret wrote:
that sucks man, how long you been without an amp now?
It's gonna be even longer before I can get it in to see someone too, as I found out my car(which is overdue for a service) is about to cost me about $550, which I don't have, and I got bills coming out of my arse, a bit of credit card debt to clear and I will be stopping full time work after Feb,which is too close a deadline to deal with all of these things.
Bills and car have to come first, then I gotta chip the card away, then, if I haven't been financially raped all anew, I can look at getting it sorted.
It's gonna be a tough year.
I think what's most disappointing is I can't look for a band and get back into playing like I wanted to.
