You could also do a fried egg (or microwave it if in a rush) in a flatbread of some kind, I usually did tortillas but they're so bad for you...., with a little melty cheese, mustard (not that french's crayon slop), and pickles.

Thank me later.

A nice and easy one:

Han's Colombian Chicken
chicken breast
fresh tomatoes
onion
lots of garlic
can of coconut milk
madame jeanette or habanero chili (if you like spicy and can find it)
salt
pepper
fresh lime juice

serve with basmati or pandan rice.
you can also substitute the chicken for white fish or shrimps / gamba's if you like, that tastes amazing as well.
put in a dash of fresh lime juice just before you serve.

Are you just eating fruits and vegetables without cooking them or what? What all does "raw foods" encompass?
I never wrote that?

But your way UG sound interesting.

I like bio stuff.

Ah yes, fried eggs are incredible.
I like putting one inside a horizontal slice of bellpepper (so it kinda holds it like a bowl).
You fry that, and then putting it on a ham and cheddar cheese sandwich.

Hummus makes a great addition to any sandwich, as well as something perfect to eat with celery or carrots.
I would like to try my hand at making my own sometime.

Nora Billy wrote:Here is a delicious and nutritious snack I created that will satisfy your sweet tooth, stick to your ribs, and cause you no guilt.

1. Take about a tablespoon or so of raw honey ( I use Really Raw Honey brand http://www.reallyrawhoney.com/) and nuke it in a bowl for about 15 seconds to liquify it.

2. Mix in a handful of raw almonds.

3. Add some quinoa and mix it up again so that all ingredients are distributed.

4. Slice up a banana or 2 depending how hungry you are.

5. Top with cinnamon.

6. Nuke again until hot.

7. Enjoy

That sounds delicious, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't heating up raw honey basically heat it up enough to make it not raw honey anymore?

Also, I don't cook. I never learned how since my mom never allowed me in the kitchen to learn. I really only eat meat if somebody else cooks it for me. I eat raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and such though.

Yes, I think technically you would be correct. Although I have seen some companies, like Zambezi Honey, call themselves raw honey, and I know that stuff has to be heated because of the consistency of it. So who the hell knows? Zambezi honey is delicious though. Especially with natural peanut butter and Ezekiel bread. I don't eat bread anymore, but I used to make that sandwich all time. Yum!

I likes me Really Raw Honey...I likes me that Vaseline-like consistency plus it just tastes way better than normal honey. I am not bothered by the fact I may be technically making it un-raw by heating it.

I actually got to eat raw honey for the first time this fall. Apparently there is an apiary not 20 miles away from my house that sells it own honey at the farmer's market. Delicious! Also, the farmer's market is so freaking awesome, everybody there is super nice and the produce is easily the best I've ever had.

Natural peanut butter + Honey + Plain Greek Yogurt. Add a few almonds/walnuts/brazil nuts and it is a delicious snack!

im so addicted to honey right now
i drink alot of green tea(bags)
and since my supply is low
im cuttin half n half with sugar

as far as foood goes
pierogies seems to be tops around here right now
i do most if not all of the cooking
and they seem to satisfy
id love a homemade pierogie tutorial
but tonight it was just:
half a diced onion
sauteed in butter till lifeless
take the onions out
and brown the rogis in the butter
im using frozen so i thaw them in berlin water
after they brown plate them
put the onions back in the pan with half butter stick
melt it into the onions and pour all over the plate pirogies
make sure everyone gets equal onions
im startin to get dirty looks for skimping
hmm..make it a full onion
applesauce and sour cream of course
but in a pinch: cream cheese and strawberry jam
holy moly, but thats like dessert

its basic
but my real intention is hearing one of your recipes
im gonna make butternut squash soup soon
anyone have a good vegetetarian chicken stock substitute?

another request
vegetarian pad thai

Raw honey is a huge difference from the regular stuff ain't it? Same with fresh produce. My company provides garden plots for employees to grow their own vegetables. And it is all grown organically. The difference is night and day between that stuff and the crap you get in a supermarket that is picked way before it is ripe and sprayed with chemicals.

I cook a LOT, and I try to mix up what we eat. One night steak, one seafood etc.

Lately this has been really good.

Wild salmon with onions, tomato and avocado.

i add some oil to the saute pan and then briefly fry the salmon, just long enough to make it so the skin peels right off. I remove it and let it sit in a bowl with garlic salt, dill and lemon juice.
I dice the tomato and onion and saute that in olive or avocado oil. Once it starts to soften I put the salmon in with it. I try to time it so the onions and tomato are just starting to caramelize when the fish is one.

While it's cooking I quickly slice up the avocado. Serve the Salmon on top of the onion tomato and top with the avocado.

Really nummy.

Sooooooo much better! I got a jar of their regular honey too so i can kind of get rid of my allergies. I swear that I will start a little garden in the spring so i can start making my own produce, but I have no idea what to grow or how to go about it. :/
I refuse to buy vegetables and fruit already anywhere except Meijer now. I try to go frozen if possible, at least it is ripe when it is frozen..

Broooo you gotta crisp that skin up. Fried salmon skin is like the bacon of the sea. :snax:

My specialty is meatloaf.
Can't tell you the recipe because it's a trade secret. As in I trade my meatloaf for crabcake.
But there's meat, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, carrot, onion, garlic, worchestershire, dijon mustard, paprika, salt, pepper and bbq sauce involved.
