So have you decided if your keeping it or selling it?
Glad you guys like how it came out :thumb:
I put it together as a test build for those who were interested in the kit. There ARE some imperfections. You can see where I plugged it to move the bridge over, there are a couple spots on the back whereI came close to sanding through the finish, the pickup routes were sized for normal pickups, unfortunately I did not realize this till I installed them and one didn't work, the bc rich pup required removing wood from the route to fit it in tere as well as modification to the pickup ring. There is a tiny sand through spot where I made the hole for the selector switch.

It does play nice and when I strung it up yesterday there was a bit of fret buzz at the 1st and second fret. I'm going to let the neck settle under tension before I address that.

Celticelk and Krosis had the most interest in doing this, so if they want it they have dibs, if not, then yes it will be for sale. I don't think I'll do another one unless someone REALLY wants it. At the price of the kit, you get what you pay for. (Kit is cheap) I think a better way would be to source a neck and then build a body from scratch. Of course that would cost more due to getting all the parts, but the end result would be better.

You know what the definition of hell is? Being stuck at work for 24 hours with patients who fart non stop while your sweet ass vinyl test presses are sitting at your house. Waiting for 7 am to get here so I can clock out is taking for fucking ever.

Palomino Pressing. They've been great so far. I get a reply in under 15 minutes every time I email them and they have acquiesced every request I have made so far. Just ready to get home and listen to them. My wife said they sounded great and that my son head banged the whole time "Daddy's song" was on.
