Sounds and looks pretty cool...

Costs: $599.95

I think I'd rather buy a new amp, or like 4 to 5 other overdrives or fuzzes

If I was spending that much I think I should be able to expect the fit and finish of ToneCzar, not prefin enclosures with labelmaker tabs. Wtf.

I've got something that's touch-sensitive and you can get your hands on it for way less than 6 hundos.

It's that Cornish niche, I think.

Anyway, time to bolster the hatches and grab the mason jars.

Stupid. It makes no sense to me where these prices come from other than 'because they can'. I'm gonna raise my prices a couple hundred because "I have experience building pedals"

Are they actual labels or is it screenprinted to look like home printed labels?
I'm sure they had to pay a high-price graphic designer to come up with that look. That's $399 of the cost there.

Edit:
Nevermind. Looked at more pics and they're definitely just labels stuck on.

There is a 50 or 60 page shitstorm thread about this pedal on TGP, with a bunch of guys who bought it saying it rules, and of course a bunch of detractors, including some who degooped one, and I think it's already been cloned and the clone is being sold for like half that price? I kind of lost track of what was real and what was a joke.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

The guy who started the thread pitched in on another one to degoop it with a couple of other TGP'ers, and after they successfully traced the circuit they started selling their own clone for 300 (or "half the price") instead of telling people what it was. :snax:

At least, that's where I'm at, on page 47.

Lets look at it another way. I've had 3-4000 dollar amps and this pedal sounds better than their lead channels. No question. So instead of buying another 3-4 k amp for this particular type of tone $600 is a smoking smoking, bargin. Have no need to spend 4k now. Best tone I've ever got.

Hahahahaha

That's it goddamn it. I'm building etched Klon clones and selling them for 800 bucks a pop. Who wants the first twelve?
