I just saw the Sword play on New Year's Eve here in Denver. They played about one more song after midnight rolled around, then for their encore..... they all came back out onstage with mini-bongs and lit up before playing "Maiden Mother and Crone." That moment felt pretty weird. Weed immediately followed by "bah, bah!!!!" (that's my stoner rock noise) and the whole venue toking. I haven't smoked in a couple years but it was still a really cool moment. It felt historical somehow. Maybe I'm blowing it out of proportion, but it felt cool. Weed is legal here now, officially, if I'm not somehow mistaken (like I said, I haven't smoked in a while.....)
The future is here and more shit is getting better!!!!!! It allllmost makes me want to go to the store tomorrow..... just because I fucking can. The future. Is. Here.
I just wanted to express that sentiment.
