DM-1 & SAMPLR. Great apps.
I have the feeling I need to get better at this sort of stuff. But first I need to start thinking electro-style. I'm still too much of a band man.
mmmm, when I post music hear it's usually in Let's hear Your noise but here goes:
My band did a Winter Solstice song. Because why the hell not? Sure it's a little different from the noise-doom-let's-go-loody-ape-shit but hey - it's a tune for celebrating the passing wait for the return of the Sun... or what ever it is that Your cultural background/religion likes to call it.
Not my music per se but I finally cobbled together some of the pieces of video footage I had from Izalith last july. I'm stupidly in love with my bass tone here.
The idea is that it starts out neat and orderly, and each individual part remains so, but because of the way they overlap (asymmetrically?) it gradually builds into near cacophony, before one by one the instruments trail out and restore the piece to order. So far I have the parts for 4 instruments tentatively written. I still want to add 1-2 more, and it will eventually be probably around 2-3 times as long.
