You've tried the other character series for bass or geet? or both?
Bass only. I haven't actually tried all of them, I was exaggerating. I've tried the VT, I owned the Leeds/Hiwatt, and I tried the Orange, Fender and Vox ones. So I haven't tried the Mesa or Marshall ones.
Because of my uncle's insano guitar amp collection, I've been able to play through a Deluxe Reverb, a Bassman, an AC30 and a Hiwatt. I've been able to try Orange amps in stores. They all impressed me with how closely they nailed their models. But I was not a fan of the VT, and I think it's just because I don't like the Ampeg sound.
I've tried the Blonde on guitar, sounded pretty decent going into a tube power amp and bypassing the speaker sim.
I'll give it a go on bass...

It sounds cool, but all the dirt is pedal dirt. I'd like to see what kind of dirt sound that amp can get.

They have a bunch of other vids up, check them out. I think they had one pushing the tubes hard.
Most KT88's have a really grindy awesome tone when cranked. I have no idea how long until GC gets one in stock so I can blast it.

Just from looking through a dozen or so vids, this was the best I could find. He's got the master at about 3:00. I'd love to hear this thing with the master wide open and with a pick.

I AM STARTING TO SEE THE APPEAL OF MODULARS.
......... still would want to run them off of a midi sequencer like a pc DAW to be able to save settings and shits. like, a MIDI Modular Rig would be funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
