Wah?! I did not know this. I have an album of theirs. It's not my kind of thing personally, but didn't Will used to tour with them as a bassist or something like that?

So I found the perfect drummer on craigslist, but he has one HUGE downside.... he's still in highschool... if his skills are there is it worth taking the time to perfect the music, and record an album while he finishes school and then go touring? or do you think it would be a trainwreck waiting to happen? The first serious band I joined I was about 12 years younger than the rest of the members and it worked out pretty good actually, so I don't think its that obscure, and younger people have a tendency to be able to get out more people to shows. So I dunno, am I nuts or should I give the guy a chance?

I know this is not necessarily what you want to hear, but I think it would be good for a kid his age to get involved with a mature bunch of musicians who just want to make music and perform it to fans. It could be great life experience and teach him valuable lessons. Something else to consider, I guess.
