I was at my local shop yesterday to order a few sets of Bass VI strings. The guy that took care of it for me wasn't my usual guitar sales rep. He mostly deals with strings and small accessories. He asked me if I had a Squier or the new Pawnshop. Turns out Fender is advertising it to their dealers as new 'cause they obviously don't sell and one of the biggest shop in France doesn't even list the Pawnshop on their website

The Pawnshops sold early, I almost broke the reserve to buy one but held off as I thought I'd find one on the flip somewhere, and then...the Squiers.

Game over.

I still want a Fender at some point if I can just to get an unbound neck and mod the holy hell out of it.

But it can wait.

Ohhhh man. That sounded good. Was that the Timeline doing the delay at the start there?

Yep, timeline is on during the whole video on a basic dTape delay setting I use all the time. I love the way the repeats degrade over time.
