Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
these were the pa mains of choice around austin in the 80s. I got the ones I have from zoo music in fort worth. me and the guy had to dig them out of a literal mountain of cabs, amps, mixers, etc. this involved climbing on top of stacks of broke ass gear and exhuming these beasts from their layer. most of them had been buried alive. 7 cabs in all. I bought the 4 best. they look super shitty up close, but theyre rugged as fuck.

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
In an ideal world I'd be able to bring tons of gear to shows, but I just can't make it work. This is why my Dunwich was moved from a big amp to a small amp.skullservant wrote:I'm with you Iommic. I mean I COULD fit a 2x15 in my car if I wanted to (and I have, when I was actually playing shows regularly) but now I'm to the point where two 1x12's are OK with me.
As much as I would like a wall like Forrrest it could never happen/I would never have an excuse for it although I'd like to. That's an amazing collection Forrrest!

On the subject of australian amps:
Dylan from White Walls in Melbourne seems to be making some cabs I think...
He makes guitars under the name Black tone.

Eminence Delta Pro 12a is more full range with less high end roll off, but the 12LFC has a really nice low-mid + low end thump to it and it's cheaperterminator wrote:so what kind of easy-to-find-cheap 12" would you guys recommend for a theile-style 1x12 intended for bass and guitar mini dooms coming out a yba1a? if I may ask

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
Hmm... Not sure why I haven't posted my rig here. Maybe I have
Bass rig (one band) consists of my YBA-3 through a 2x15, and the Beta Bass through my flatback 810.
Guitar rig (other band) is my Sound City 100 to my Marshall 412 and Sunn Sorado into the Ampeg 4x12 (Scumbacks) and Emperor EVM loaded 212 stack

Dude, the right side of the room is going to be so loud now that I set up that Ampeg 412. I need a splitter for the speaker cable though; one output, two cabs.Corey Y wrote:chillerthanmost wrote:Hmm... Not sure why I haven't posted my rig here. Maybe I have![]()

Once I get the new Dunwich amp I'll probably bring back the other 215 or my 810, so be prepared to shake the walls apart again.chillerthanmost wrote: Dude, the right side of the room is going to be so loud now that I set up that Ampeg 412. Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
We're gonna need a new locking system. Then when I get mine you can run them both in stereo
