I ordered me a bunch of noise cd's off of one guy from Discogs the other other, including 2 Yellow Swans.

Just got back from the record store day Black Friday thing. Got these three and the store is gonna try to order me a copy of the failure lp (they didn't get any but dude said its about a 75% chance they can order some today)

BLACK ONE!!!

Recently got myself some Sunn O))) down at Amoeba. Got White 1 & 2 because I figured you couldn't have one without the other, they're brothers. Also got a copy of The Grimm robe Demos for good measure for that pure unadulterated droooone.

And to balance that out I got my hands on Lightning Bolt//Earthly Delights which was surprisingly hard as butts to get a hold of. Rasputin didn't have it at all, and Amoeba had ONE copy, and it was the ONLY Bolt they had in the joint. Not to mention it was like, $17 buck which was strange. maybe its rare to find their shit in the wild just lurking, I dunno. I found it strange is all, but I'm not complaining tho cause that shit RIPS.

Last night I got my music on my computer back in order after getting it fixed, reset my ipod and loaded up My Bloody Valentine//Loveless and m b v, the latter of which surprised me with the constancy given the 20 year gap between it and loveless.

I also cycled all my Flying Lotus shit back on because that man produces flawless material.

Oh yeah earthly delights is great. I got the vinyl from them at a show, it has a sweet maze etched on the d-side. "Transmissionary" is probably my favorite song by them. Also jealous as fuck, I wish I lived near amoeba. You could probably combine every decent record store in this state and it wouldn't be as big as amoeba.

glad im not the only one that loves that song. That riff man. So fun to play. Funny farm is also a personal favorite of my.

I haven't listened to this yet but I just saw these guys live.... holy crap. Blew me away.
Drum/bass/jangly guitar/accordion/saxophone making some crazy energetic noise rock/post-punk mess.
Loved it, hoping this record is just as good as the live show was.

Finally Picked up the latest from Bill Callahan, Dream River but havn't had a chance to sit down and listen. And....it looks like he already has another ready for 2014, Have Fun With God. Not usual that he puts out material with such frequency, I hope they are both in the earlier sparse acoustic style.
