i just found out this afternoon that i got the copywriter job in Charlottesville. so i not only won't be homeless at the end of the month, i'll be going someplace warmer and with actual culture and a good and decent-paying job. maybe if i'm lucky it'll be a place where i can begin to heal from my three years of loss and hell.it still isn't even real to me...i find myself laying in bed killing time the same way i've done these miserable last couple of months. but there's a turkey pot pie in the microwave waiting to cool down, and i've got somewhere to go TO...everywhere i've gone since i left Santa Cruz was somewhere i HAD to go to because there was nowhere else. so take a moment to share with me, and hope and pray this will be as good as it can be.
