you're drunk, right? that's the craziest thing i've heard anyone say in a month, besides the dude who responded to "am i punk or what?" by talking about the bobble heads in his office. slip it in is a fine album and all, but it's no damaged. .

Would I have more street cred if I sat in a cubicle like the hoi polloi instead of an office? Or better yet, if I didn't have a job at all?

whoa, didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. i apologize if offense was taken. none was intended. it was a joke and hopefully you can see the humor in the whole remark. at my age, i really don't give a shit about street cred. and there are plenty of seriously non-punk aspects of my life that are easily on par with having an office with bobble heads in it. i just thought it was funny. as an aging punk with a mortgage and a business and all kinds of grown up sell out shit in my life, i'm poking fun at myself as much as anyone else with comments like that.
