I had one pop up on ebay. Was a factory refurb but the color I wanted, no physical issue and $50 less. I dont get to have it until Christmas though. I already ordered my staytrem, tuners, and a '62 AVRI vibrato as well as a mint guard. Alot of help from Holy Schnikes!

A shop about 45minutes away from me got a sunburst in. I played it and they are great instruments, can't wait for Christmas, just looking at all these parts for it on my table.

Got mine all set up. Put a shim in the neck and flipped the bridge around for better intonation. Low E is still not perfect but it's fine for me. Strings are la Bella tape wounds which are sweet. Next I think I'm going to install a jaguar mute on it. :joy:

Looks awesome man. I'd love to see one of these white ones with a mint pickguard on it at some point.

I nearly have that EXACT stash at home, as well!!
I have a 1-ply bakelite guard, and a set of AVRI Jag pups waiting for it too...

Of course... I have no VI to put it on... :picard:

Ohhh the pick up upgrade will be nice! Have you played one yet? The pick ups that are in it are much better than expected, but I'm sure the upgrade will be lovely.

What other aftermarket Jag pickups are folks liking these days? I'm curious about maaaaaaybe upgrading the ones in my single-coil Jag Baritone Custom.
