Its a concept I've been toying with for a while. Post-millennial psychedelia. Think Godflesh meets Kyuss at a Grateful Dead reunion show and Nine Inch Nails is the opening band.

I always wanted to call a future band Petrichor. I think it's actually already being used for a metal band. It's a great name, but agreeing with vidret, make sure it feels right for you and your music.

Thanks for the advice. The only other band I found was Petrychor. Think it was some obscure BM band. Might have been something else.

I don't know about the band name itself, but that description is the tits. I love weird nature-y nostalgia like that.

And the smell of petrichor is actually amazing. I love it. We don't get it much here in Ireland because it rarely gets dry enough.

Is it a smaller large, I can't remember what size I am in american...what brand? I'm usually a medium, sometimes L...
Also, pics?
Hmm... I'm between a L and an XL, and this L is on my skin. So, I would say it fits like an average to slightly smaller L. Brand is Gildan, which I like because they are thick. My body shape does not do good with that super thin material a lot of shirts are now days. I'll post/send pics if Corey Y doesn't end up wanting it later this week when I meet up with him :thumb:

Easily my favorite smell. I grew up in Mexico, with a lot of dirt everywhere. Instantly reminds me of home.

Missed a few things…

Christian…suck about the records man…hope it all gets sorted out soon. I'm just listening to the tracks on band camp…really liking it so far man.

Fat Fuzz Factory - i watched a few reviews a while ago and its really cool, i'm just not a fan of the funky sounds you get out of it…i don't think i would ever use them…but the stock fuzz sounds pretty sweet on it.

been looking at amps…found the VHT 12/20…seems very cool, especially since you can switch out the power tubes for 6l6 or EL34's...

Those VHT amps are good modding platforms as well, like Jet City.

So I just bought this in anticipation of another 12 string build.

I have a spalted maple top with a pattern in the wood that begs to be an sg, so I think I'll be going SG inspired shape with all the comfort cuts that fender is known for, sculpted heel, going back to a 2 point fender style trem for this one, 24 frets, locking tuners, alumitones. I'm thinking I'll go extra thick on the body to try to balance out the weight issue, I may actually add some metal in there for weight as well. Might be another semi hollow, I haven't decided yet.
