hey dudes,

my name is Joel Korte, the designer of this thing. I've been really interested in checking out some of the forums today to see what people are saying about this pedal. I haven't a clue what to do when it comes to getting the word out, but I see it as a good sign that it's popping up on forums. Anyway, just a few things I wanted to say:

1) I don't know what's up with that international shipping bullshit. $100 is wrong, I'll try and figure that out. That said, if anyone internationally is interested just let me know and we'll sort it out with a separate invoice.

2) the stomp switches are close... but keep this in mind. One of them is just tap tempo, so it doesn't do anything if you just hit it once. So mash those stomps at the same time and be happy.

3) The price. Ah, fuck. If this product came out (not by me) I would be really interested in it, because, clearly I love this type of effect... that's why I spent so much time designing it. And I would say "$329, that's bullshit." My mission statement when I started designing this thing was that I wanted to make it affordable and make no compromises. I made no compromises... and the issue being that they are made in very small batches and are U.S. manufactured. If thousands of these were made... and in Taiwan in China like everyone else does, I might be able to retail it at $199. Unfortunately, I'm just a dude. In an apartment. With limited resources and I could only afford to make 60 of these fuckers. Making that small of anything in the U.S. costs a shitload. This is the cheapest I could sell it for and it pisses me off, but that's the reality of the situation.

4) That said, I *do* think that price is worth it. This thing isn't a one trick pony... it essentially has 3 settings ("live" mode and 2 presets). That's right, you can save and recall analog presets. So, you can make it great boutique boost that drives the front end of an amp beautifully in one setting (put mix all the way dry and crank up the volume).... and you can make a tap tempo analog tremolo in another setting (remember in the video you can modulate any parameter... well that includes volume).... and then you can do some sort of beautiful subtle chorus or vibrato in the 3rd setting. Or a super fucked up vibrato. Alls I'm saying is that this thing is extremely flexible and your creativity is the only limit.

ok, that's it. I just wanted to make sure i made those points. I wish more than anyone else I could've gotten the price down lower though.

I've built pedals with the stomps set up that way and never had an issue, but that's me.
If you're thrashing around while playing it might be a problem

Welcome! Thanks for checking in here. I hate to gripe about the price, but it's really just a matter of limited means, believe me when I say I want one.

Question: I didn't see this in the manual, but can you tap in a tempo while the pedal is off, then engage it using the momentary feature to achieve all of the settings at that tempo? Does that make sense?

Other than that, no complaints. I probably wouldn't take advantage of all the functionality that pedal has to offer. Seems fully packed tho.

I usually bitch about prices, it's my thing... But that comes from the fact that I'm a 21-year-old student, who is not used to shell out even 200 for a pedal. My most expensive purchases so far have been a Whetstone phaser (got it for something like 230 bucks) and my Elements (175? not sure anymore). It's just where and what I am, usually it means it's too expensive FOR ME

Almost never I mean that it's not worth the asked price. Because I'm aware of the love these pedals get and that we're talking about hand-developed and hand-built pedals. So sorry if I seemed like i don't dig your pedal or that i'm being disrespectful... to put it shortly - I'm just not your target demographic

which pisses me off quite a lot, because I feel like I could have a lot of fun with this pedal or a lot of other pedals on the expensive side (with my budget however, I think for example the Holowon tape soup might be a great alternative for me)

that being said - I'm really glad I see people making something that's not been made a million times already so much respect for that and good luck with your business, I hope we'll hear from you more in the future and that you can keep up the good and fresh work

Yes, it does make sense. And good question, I should modify the manual. The answer is yes, you can tap in a tempo when the pedal is in bypass and engage it using the momentary feature to achieve all of the settings at that tempo.

It does do random (sort of) I didn't show it off in the demo. Let me explain:

1) You know how you can modulate any parameter? You decide where that modulation begins and ends. It's easiest to explain using the volume knob as an example. If you modulate volume, you have tremolo. So let's say you park the volume knob at unity. If you do a "bottom" sweep, the pedal volume will modulate between off (knob fully counterclockwise) and the unity position. A nice, crude tremolo. If you do a "top" sweep, the pedal will be modulate between unity and max volume (not terrible useful).

2) So with that info in mind... remember you can modulate RPM (vibrato rate). So if you do a "bottom" sweep of the slowest RPM setting and a "sort of slow" RPM setting it starts to sound random. In addition, you can modulate the "WARP" setting (simultaneously if you like)... which is essentially the midpoint of the vibrato wave. Then shit starts sounding really random. Hell, modulate depth too. MODULATE EVERYTHING.

I need to make more demos!!! I think the hardest thing for me to do is to communicate exactly what this thing is capable of. I'll try to do something that shows exactly this.
