The Black Keys - Rubber Factory

Call me crazy, but I fucking love The Black Keys (especially their old stuff). Rubber Factory is one of my all time favorite albums.

Talk Talk -- Laughing Stock. Yes, that Talk Talk, and I'm not fucking kidding. Side one of The Spirit of Eden is a bit easier to grok, but Laughing Stock is a better album.

Dude, if you like TWDY, go big and get the Live in Reykjavik album that came out last month. SO good.
Tunnel Blanket rules. I still need to check out that live album.

I barely even like Butthole Surfers but this is definitely my desert island album. Jeez hey knocked it out of the park. Why do all the other ones kinda suck?

or

Autechre - Amber

depending on whether you want something more organic, or more synthetic. These are the two albums that blow my fucking mind, every single time I put them on.
Agreed on Can. I loves me that album. Autechre sounds nice too, thanks. Though the cd is quite expensive on Amazon which is where I will be making my purchase. I may have to look for that on discogs.com for a separate purchase.

This is... :)* amazing :)* thanks. I just ordered the 5 cd/dvd/book boxset. It wasn't available on Amazon so I ordered right from label.

Limited edition, so if any of you wanna get your grubby little hands on it, I recommend you do so posthaste.

anyways i came down to dial it down a bit (booo hiss)
really digging storm corrosion (opeth + porcupine tree singer colab)
especially to wind down...and with a nice set of headphones and a bean bag
