That's the first time I've seen your gear all together, I think. Awesome stuff.misterstomach wrote:i've never posted my rig on here. currently it's this. shot of the practice space wall:
mine's the guitar and amp on the left. here's a close up of the current board:
the unlabeled pedals in the upper left are a badascan into an ape blaster. on the bottom right is just a tb loop that controls them. as you can see, the board still has remnants of a stereo setup, but i was forced to sell my other head a few months ago. i haven't been able to bring myself to fully redo the board 'cause i keep telling myself that i'll have another head soon. but really i should just bite the bullet and do it. the ab/y has one channel going to the elements which then goes to nothing. waiting on a head that isn't there... really i should just clear up the space on the board and do something cool with some other pedals. we've actually gotten a lot of compliments on how the guitars interact since i've gone down to one head and i can see where their coming from. i'll probably just stick with it for a while. i'd like to get another reverb, a freeze and maybe a chorus pedal on there. i really really need to get a second guitar when i can afford one.

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
thanks. the badascan + ape blaster combo is fucking crushing. the loop was originally positioned there so that i could hit the two of them and the elements at the same time when i had a stereo rig, but it sure is easier to just keep that switch on board, even if it does take up space. if i take off the ab/y and the elements i sure am going to have a lot of room to fill up. might even consider a volume pedal.Ancient Astronaught wrote: Love the rig and love the board dude!!! SICK fukkin rig. Badascan + Apeblaster in a loop for one button sonic mayhem, love it.
thanks. i don't post pics of my stuff very often. i just remembered that i took some recently and felt compelled to share.AngryGoldfish wrote: That's the first time I've seen your gear all together, I think. Awesome stuff.

Eagle is in the cage to keep the DOOM on spilling out. Will get a light of some kind to replace it. Peavey Vulcan, best reverby cleans ever. 1x18 and a folded 18, for bass or guitar. Hondo fix, Hondo LP, Washburn Savage.

TU2>Modded Boss Metal Zone>Correct Sounds Customs Eclipse>Carbon Copy. Once I get a footswitch for the amp I'll have a built in tremolo and fuzz.
Its encompassing and crushing.
Rev. DOOM, The Dude of DOOM, DOOMER, El DOOMerino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing...

I can vouch for the awesomeness of Mr. S's rig. The whole band sounded fucking phenomenal when they were up in Seattle recently.
And yes, you should get an ape blaster.
I really dig metal grating on cabs especially when there more than just mesh there, that looks awesome.

Yes, you should get an Ibanez. My AR100 is massive sounding. Meanest motherfucker ever. It looks all fancy and pretty, except it has a few scars, but sounds nothing of the sort.ryan summit wrote:i need one of them ape blasters huh?

Dan you always have a damn fine and classy board. And the amount of sonic ground it can cover is crazy.
