I think they and the other supporting band (Grayceon?) played in Monterey too, which is much closer. I could have sworn there was another band with the same name from the east coast, who had an electric upright bass player, but I can't find any mention of them now.

Well, there's Correspondences, who were from my hometown, who had an amp'd cello and were lesbians... http://correspondences.bandcamp.com/
They rocked.
Close enough! Better even, since they have a creepy sounding Daniel Johnston cover.
That's pretty cool to hear that Christian uses .60mm picks and heavy strings. I've used .60's for years until I found this forum. All of you guys talk about using heavy picks made me think I was doing it all wrong. I've got a few 1.0mm picks and am starting to get a feel for them now but I still like the .60s better.
Yep, that KWC/Lesbian/Grayceon show was in Oakland in a weird corner warehouse/apartment building in a really rough looking neighborhood haha. It was a killer show. All the bands were really solid. The venue was a pleasant surprise. There were cool sculptures and paper mache stuff hanging from the ceiling. Very cool aesthetics.

In case anyone else is interested, the shipping infor for the Digitech jamman express xt is showing that they have actually shipped it to me. Stoked to have a better option for looping long tracks
It should be here by this weekend so I'll probably do a demo review early next week once I've figured it out and run it through it's paces.
