I like Elektron stuff but don't love it, even though I wanted to. The A4 is pretty awesome functionality and feature wise, the sound is a tad weak. The bass sounds were just off, all and all it is cool though. The fucking Octatrack is a nightmare if you don't have hours to spend on it everyday for a month or two, the button combos and sub-menus just killed it for me and the fact that using it as a looper isn't straight forward on it. Awesome idea, execution is rough. There are plenty of people that do master it, but there are way more people that have to get honest with themselves and sell it, like I did...

Mhmm, so clean. I need to step up my vinyl game as well, my player broke almost a year ago and I have all this wax sitting around. Sucks to have none of that $$$. :idk:

I've been wanting a good vinyl setup myself for quite a while now, but I'm absolutely clueless about this stuff. I did some googling on the Pro-Ject stuff that you bought, sounds and looks cool for not horribly expensive. I'll definitely keep it in when I get my act together and put together my own setup!

I'm having a reaaaaally hard time not buying this Wurly.

http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/msg/4187864544.html

It has an RCA out from the reed board so I'd have to somehow adapt that as a regular line output. I don't know how to do that. Also it'd need a new sustain pedal which is a bummer. But other than that???

Why can't I make middle class purchases thanks a lot Obama

Man that is cool but it's missing the tube amp which would put this close to $1000 to get back in shape...

Sweet. I'm super stoked on it. Looked at, like, Audio-Technica USB tables and stuff, but figured I'd just go ahead and shell out for a nicer entry level guy.
Was instantly turned on by the minimalist design.

Too true. I figured I could just forego the internal amp design and use external amps like the later Wurlitzers and Rhodes, but it's still kind of a lot for a gutted 120 I think.

Vox Delaylab. Amazon's discount and mail-in rebate brings it just under $107 with slow shipping.
