A Black Death Sampler/Synth in an aluminum housing with switchable code/modes. So excited.

I was excited about this until I realized he was charging an extra $150 for a $15 aluminum case with no art or labels, and some plastic knobs.

No money changed hands and I picked these up so no postage was involved, but I was jamming at a friend's place today when he pulled down a dusty old box of pedals he hasn't used in years to throw my way. He doesn't own any tube amps anymore and rarely plays live (even when we jam or he's practising he runs through Mainstage on a Mac) so the pedals have just been sitting there.

The Super Hard-on is from 1999, the Seek Wah is from 2000. He wasn't sure what the the unfinished pedal does (from the control layout it could be a Muff of some kind - haven't opened it up yet to check the board) but I figured it's a stompbox and it makes a noise so I'd take it and give it a try.
Will throw some batteries in these puppies and give 'em a workout tomorrow. The Seek Wah looks batshit crazy and can't wait to hear what it's going to do.

nice score :yay:
you'll dig the seek wah. if its anything like the ooh wah II that replaced it you can get anything from programmable wah to filter sample/hold fun, only limited by your imagination. also goes great with fuzz. cool pedal.
ships ahoy:)

Just ordered a dedicated power supply for my Timebender. Black hole sonogram sounds will ensue.

Without the tempest and m9 in there for scale, I would have had no idea how massive that thing is

He brought his entire rig to my apartment (multiple guitars, amp, pedalboard), had to have me help him swap out the speaker (we couldn't get the original out; fucking boutique amp...), and insisted on putting his amp on my couch after I rigged a speaker jack.

Memorable quotes of the evening: "I'm a huge John Mayer fan," and a reference to network of church aka P&W bands.
He also played a PRS (didn't bring a strap so borrowed mine), used the gold Monster patch cables, and kept talking up his fancy boutique amp (just a Fender clone with poor internal design and a meh sound).

All this to say I sold that fucking speaker.

Disclaimer: This sounds very hateful towards the typical TGP crowd. But seriously this guy was a passive aggressive jerk. And hated fuzz.
Your home now. It's all right.

I want so many products on the Elektron line. Analog Four is at the top, but the Octatrack is appealing as hell.
If only I had the money...

He tried to get me to do soldering work on it today. Yeah... no.
I'm still not sure it was worth it.
