My VI loves effects, some fuzzes that are tameish on regular six string just come alive with the monster.

The Blender with the VI is just a match made in retro hell.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

Yeah. The demos I watched on youtube were very lacking. IT'S A FREAKING BASS VI, WHY WOULD YOU PLAY FUCKING BLUES AND CLEAN SOUNDS ONLY ????????

So I picked one of these up from Sam Ash on Saturday. I love love love it so far, except the low e string is too floppy for my liking tuned to DADF#AD. All the other strings seem fine. Probably gonna try these tape wounds just cuz the ric hanging in the shop next to this guy had tape wounds and they were so smooov! I'd never tried them before. http://www.bassstringsonline.com/La-Bel ... _1857.html

Lucky bastard. I've got mine ordered from L&M but their lead time is undefined :grumpy:
Apparently there are hundreds of orders and they'll be filling them in the order that they came in

 I hate you trace. Your sam ash just magically has these shits in stock. (in the white color that I've been wanting like a ravenous stalking rapist).
When SOME PEOPLE (read: [unhappy] me) who placed their order in September via the internet are still waiting two months on..

Sexy bass though.

And it'll probably piss you guys off even more when you hear that it's been sitting in there unloved for the better part of a month now, I just now got some spare cash to go get it. :poke:

It's much fun though I really hope you guys get yours soon! I apologize for my good luck

Wish I could find one in stock anywhere, think I'm just going to have to order blind...

I can't believe one of these would sit in stock anywhere for long.
You sir are very lucky.

I wouldn't be too worried about ordering blind.
At the very least you could probably flip it on here in seconds.

I ordered both my Squier Mascis JM and VM Bass VI blind. My local shop don't stock these, but they're cool with returns if I notice something wrong with anything.
Anyway, it's been 10 days now since I got my VI from the shop. It's good stuff on the cheap. To the point I won't do any mod to it. I basicly lubricated the nut and saddles with a pencil, lowered the pick ups a bit, adjusted the action a bit as well and it's all good. Sounds alright, plays nicely : good enough for me :thumb:
