Yeah they made it super hard to love that SG baritone. Of all the colors they could have chosen to do it up in.
Classic red, or all blacked out. I guess at least it exists. Now for refinishing!!

Played a solo set two weekends ago:

Anyways my dad snagged a deer this weekend so I ended up taking the ride to the butchers so it could get processed

Here is an image of the guy processing it. NOTE: NSFW

Glad to hear your lady is fine Nick, that's good news. My lady got your ornament out in the post last night so expect it this week!

Also, vidret- it was a bit of a complicated setup to say the least haha
Pedalboard split between amps for guitar and bass sound, then a second vocal pedal board with octave, drive, delay, and verb on it with another looper!
At the end of the chain I had a 3 way killswitch that routed the guitar signal, bass signal, and vocal signals to their respective places
I accidentally routed guitar to the DI instead of vocals, so for half of the performance (until you see me reach down and switch the cables around) the vocals were going through my guitar cab and the guitar through the DI. But once it was switched around, the vocals went to DI, guitar to Verellen stack, and Bass to Sovtek stack!
THAT SHIRT IS SO COMFORTABLE

All my life my dad has been a huge hunter so this type of stuff is just the norm for me. I've always had a taste for a fair deal of wild game, though some of it certainly isn't for everyone.

That being said, venison is some of the tastiest lean meat there is and for certain meals you can really cook the game taste out of it if that's what you want. Ground venison is an excellent substitute for meals requiring ground beef. Soups, chili, and tacos all come to mind. Ground venison tacos are the best.

I never liked hunting because my dad has always butchered his own deer, for the most part, particularly when time is on his side. I could just never get into that. All things considered, both of my parents now hunt and I'm able to keep my freezer stocked with ground venison; venison sticks; Polish, Italian and breakfast sausage; as well as butterfly steaks (they're great for any meal, perfect with some eggs, and can be used in all kinds of Mexican meals).

All hail venison.

man I'm jealous. Deer meat is wonderful and so Is Elk, Elk just might be my favorite thing. I wish commercial hunting was more of a thing as I am not up to trekking through woods and up mountains to bag an Elk. I did just find a place locally that carries Elk as well as venison, mudbugs and alligator meat. Made some killer jambalya with boudin and andouille sausage, elk, catfish and shrimp with a crawfish etoufee to go with it. I'm stoked I found that place as most of the time ingredients like that just are not available around here.
Cajun food might just be the best thing ever.

Truer words may never have been spoken. I'm pretty convinced that New Orleans has the best food on Earth.

Walking through the woods is the best part of it (well, at least on par with eating the rewards of a hunt). I haven't gotten a deer yet this season, but when I do I'm gonna get my dad to show me how to make jerky out of the whole thing. My son has gotten two squirrels so far this season. I don't care for eating them but he loves it. I took him hog hunting two days ago and we didn't see anything but tons of tracks throughout the creek beds. He was so excited to see that so I know he will shit bricks when we see one walking through the woods. Can't wait to bag a few smaller ones to put in the crock pot.
