I wonder if Emery regrets leaving the Blackhawks. That was a pretty pitiful act last night.

Same, except to see who he traded Giroux and Couturier to.

If I were G I'd be begging to be traded. I'd want to win a Stanley Cup sometime during my career and from the looks of it,...that ain't happening in Philly anytime soon.

Plus it would continue the trend of the Flyers signing a guy to a long-term contract extension before trading them a few months later. Giroux to Nashville for Weber would be a fun trade on so many levels.

Luke Schenn and Eric Gustafson were healthy scratches last night for Philly. Hal Gill and Andrej Meszaros slotted in on defense in lieu of.

Flyers held the Devils to 14 shots and Emery turned aside all of them. I wouldn't call it a stellar defensive effort but it was a far sight better than I've seen so far this year.

Hmmmmm......

Little late to this but that 7-0 Flyers loss was painful to watch. I'm trying to hit the Bruins in San Jose on Jan. 11th. I'm a Bruins fan at heart and they don't come around too often, but tickets are so fucking expensive for the Shark Tank. On that note, and again late, that last second win they pulled in Boston with 0.08 seconds left was so excellent. Hope I post on here more often, topic subscribed :)

I know, they seem to be playing twice the speed as Boston, haha. But they always start so strong every season. Plus I would be so bummed if Boston gets a win in San Jose and I'm an hour away but too cheap to be there. Damn, if only I wasn't buying so many fucking pedals and shit for my guitar and bass rigs.

If anyone is interested I have one invite to a d.noid style private tracker called "The Sports Tore Runt Network" (TSTN).

You must be Tore Runt Savvy and in order to remain a part of the community; TSTN does require that you maintain a ratio of .80 or above. Games are typically capped and uploaded a few hours after they've aired.

PM me. First come first serve.

In the past I've used Gamecenter Live and NHL Center Ice,...but they are too cost prohibitive and I often have to miss games as a result of them airing when I'm not available to watch live. In the past I've missed games as a result of blackout restrictions too which I find infuriating. Actually tore runting games works out pretty well for me as I can watch the games on my own time and actually pay attention to family when it's family time.

Giroux scores his first goal of the season 16 games in. FINALLY.

Hoping this is the first in a string of wins that gets this team out of the basement.

Glad to see some smiles.

This recent stretch hasn't been pretty, though the Ducks only got outplayed once. Despite that, this still makes me happy.

This too.

Nice to see that the Oilers are *maybe* starting to turn things around. They still need a goalie (I highly doubt Bryzcrazylof will do it), and a physical veteran d-man, and some more size up front…but, hey, 3 wins in a row is 3 wins in a row.

Yakupov to Sabres for Myers and/or some other d-men and/or Miller?

You don't like Yak? When the Yak for Miller rumors popped up it was reported that Edmonton was on Miller's list of teams he wouldn't accept a trade to. Besides, you have Bryz!

Ugh. Maybe I'll like Bryz if he wins 30 games for the Oil this year. Maybe.

Yeah, I heard that about Miller too, and honestly I don't even really want Miller out of fear that he'd pull a prick Pronger move or something like that. Plus he's too old. They should have grabbed someone like Bernier or Schneider or Scrivens even this summer.

With Yak, I just don't see a place for him going forward. They should have used that pick on a d-man anyway, or traded it down. We have ample small talented forwards. It is time for some grit.

Agreed, Miller isn't worth it, especially not with Buffalo's asking price. Toronto doesn't seem to like Reimer much, he might be available. He's basically Bernier without the draft pedigree hype but better numbers. There's also talk of Edmonton being in on Hiller. I like Hiller and hope he stays, though if he's traded to Edmonton it has to be for Justin Schultz.
