PumPie I could likely swap rigs with you and fully expect to hit the ground running. 
Looks like you have 3/4 cornerstones that lay the foundation for my favorite flavor of heavy harmonic feedback:
Shortscale, single coil (in series?) loaded guitar (w/rosewood fretboard) > DMM > Bassman or British derivative.
Only thing that's missing is a 2-transistor germanium or hybrid fuzz up front...but I suspect the Muff'n would sub np.
Also do tell more about your pickups and the amp+drivers etc.

The Mustang's electronics are all upgraded, lace sensor blue in the bridge, still need to put a red in the neck. Amp is set clean as possible and all the kick comes from the Muff'n and/or Sparkle Motion for cleans. Together they make a hell of an overdrive. But yeah, the mustang plus the blue pickup does supply that harmonic feedback when sustaining a note. Its the best.
