I only have the downloaded file. I don't have a turntable and my disc drive is busted. Everything is downloaded at the moment.

How long is the album? If it's too long for vinyl that could be a problem, of course could be a bad press but that should have been caught at the test press stage or at least when they received the shipment to band or label and someone listened to it.

It's a 6-track record. It's only small.

I don't know how I've missed them so many times, but I've just discovered KEN mode. But they have quite a few albums and I can't afford them all. What's the best one to start with? I'm streaming Entrench at the moment and like it. It's their most recent I believe and they have four or so albums before that.

Time well spent. I love doom room meetups.

Cans. Do it.

Sleep was religious. And effortlessly heavy is the perfect fucking way to describe it. Right on, man.

Antarticans Thawed (fuck yes!:doom:)
I saw High on Fire before I was really a fan of them. I was a fan of Sleep, but was at the show to see Mastodon. Pike is definitely something special - that show is the reason I am a HoF fan, and know that Pike will eventually go down as one of the underrated greats (to the mainstream anyhow). I was ultra pissed I missed Sleep in Raleigh last month, but my daughter was due like the next week so I didn't want to chance being a couple hundred miles away hahaha.

Also, Antarticas Thawed is so fucking good.
conky wrote:Anyone get their copy of the new Whores and listen to it yet? I got mine this morning and it sounds like absolute ass. No low end at all. It isn't my record player because I put on a few others and the low end is all there with them.
Mine hasn't gotten here yet - I will post whenever it does. The Ruiner press had shit loads of low end. Sucks if it didn't turn out the way they intended, because Clean is every bit as good as Ruiner.

The song lengths vary from 1:39 minutes to 6:40. That doesn't exactly answer your question, but that's how much the tracks vary between.

PNW Doomroom show would be killer. I'd come down for that shit.

Was a fun show man. I wish I could have stayed to watch everyone, but I had a ton of crap going on last weekend. God bless heavy music!

As far as the cans go John, I will be testing it out tonight. I picked up some sheers and other necessary items, so we will see. Beer Armor commith!

$10 CofM, are you fucking kidding me!?

Yeah, that's a cool as shit name, but is it a rifle for hunting wizards, or a rifle made by/for wizards?

Children are more important than seeing Sleep....only marginally though (jk, I have two kids....although I did leave them in Brisbane).
That would have been a mad show.

And yes, Antarcticans Thawed rules hard.
Also, can't remember if I replied to dos, but you're right about holy mountain. All those songs come alive on stage, but then again, I have always hated the production on that record.
Needs to be dopesmokerified.
