The original point stands, if either of your cheese factories can get close enough to the Faye Sing, who cares? You're already replacing the Nimbus and Possessed. Recording is recording. Live is live. The fact that you have shitty mikes, shitty rooms, shitty sound guys means that your sound is nothing like studio/rehearsal room. Most people don't hear the difference between a boss DS-1 and The Elements. So they don't count either. If you're happier making live music with a certain setup, go for it as you're the only one who'll notice.

hurm. that brings up an interesting question. what do y'all think about having a pedal you love and would record with but then an easier solution for live stuf that's close, not quite as good, but good enough for live shows?

I do that, especially with stuff that's verging on unobtanium/not easily replaced ala my SC or my Singing Tree. I'd rather sound a little worse and not have something with serious emotional attachment get jacked during load out.

thing is, most phasers don't have a resonance knob. that's what gives the Faye the awesome throaty anger face voice that i adore out of it.

Dude, the Mobius could totally kick the Faye Sing off. I've been playing with the Phaser and there are sooooooo many fucking options, up to a 8 step phaser. I mean, seriously??? That's ridiculous! LOL I LOVE the phase on this thing!

Anybody With An H9 - Jean gave me a headsup on they released a new patch for the H9 section. it's called The Resonator, it's a free dl till the end of the year, and it looks TITS. i haven't played with it yet, doing that in a hinute. if it doesn't show up in the algo section, update the H9 Controller app, then do the newest update for the H9.

Ben, it's got mad options dude. Like above and beyond. I've been playing the the expression pedal and 2 step phaser, it the most lush crazy phasing ever. I push down to the toe position and it sounds like a lazer cannon! GOD! It has a regen option, is that the same as resonance?
