I wanna try out a Bigsby sometime, seems like it'd be the most comfortable style for me but :idk:
They are to me, they just feel right for how I play, I've never got on with start/floyds or jag/jazz or Kahler :idk: it's all about that bounce and wiggle :!!!:

i found this old japanese trem
its the full chunk of metal
straight back to the strap button like a b7
i m hesitant to put a cheap p.o.s. on there
cause i play kinda rough
but the things got bounce
the spring is so loose it would be fun
and it slacks out the strings pretty well
i gotta get a trem on my shit
let us know how you like the bigsby

Aren't those things usually put back further?

Kinda disappointed you didn't put this behind the Bigsby:

I love Bigsbys, especially on teles and LPs, but on an SG I want a Lyre.. just something about it.

What difference would putting 500k pots in make? I love my Epiphone 1961 Special, and I've left it stock (except for putting in a Switchcraft jack), but I've been thinking about changing the electronics/maybe the pickups as well.

What do they have stock? 250-300k? Probably make your pups sound a little brighter.

There are many like it, but this one is mine..... Gibson SG/HH. One of the nicer (read fewer QC problems) modern Gibson's I've played. Semi-satin finish, not as matte as the worn/faded models (which I'd prefer) but certainly not the glossy plastic feel of most Gibson. I wanted the lighter brown finish, but this one had a one piece body and rang like a bell.

Haven't done anything too fancy to it. Some changes to the volume circuit, and replaced the pickups - GFS Mean 90 in the neck and the HB from a SQ51 in the bridge. Both have been unpotted, and put an A8 mag in the HB. Kills.
