its sooo much more comfortable to use than the flip-top screen IMO. 3D hurts my eyes anyways.

Re: The Video Game thread
Man, F you guys with your DSes. I'll just be all lonely with my PSP here...
Need more PSP games. Right now it's used for pre-sleep Adventure Time and as an emulator for anything PSX and below.
I was enjoying Persona 3 but that tower mechanic wore me out. I need something really relaxing to play.

I don't know if I can commit to a new Pokemon game, I haven't been able to finish the last 3 games I've tried.

That's sitting in my wish list. I've become super apprehensive about buying into early access games.

6 endings plus something I don't think is an ending but I could only get out of by restarting.foomanfat wrote:How many endings did you find in Stanley Parable?GardenoftheDead wrote:The Stanley Parable is fun and interesting but I don't know if I can recommend a game that took about 90 minutes to play (at a snail's pace). I mean at the current sale price ($12), it's certainly more worth your money than 2 Venti Lattes at Starbucks but not everyone would agree. Wait for a price drop unless you like funny art experiments.
A friend gave me Dust: An Elysian Tail and it's pretty fun actually.

that DS is odd. not to talk poo, but it looks retro in like.... a bad way. like the way everything used to be built with all that wasted plastic space around the screeny bits you actually want?
but you dig it?
FUCK ME 'TANE. that was always my problem with the psp. yeah, emulators woooooooo. but i want new games. and they never put any out ever at all ever.

Re: The Video Game thread
All my friends want me to play GTA with them, but Dark Souls has been the only game I've been interested in as of late. I guess it's the anticipation of DS2 in March, but I just can't get enough of it. Even farming the same shit over and over and over while I wait for someone to summon me doesn't get boring for some reason. I just love everything about that fucking game.

Re: The Video Game thread
Losing all your souls is the WWWOOOOORRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT though. Holy shit, I gotta take a week-long break after that.
I also suck at the game and could never find any humanity...and nobody would ever +1 my "need humanity" thing, bastards.
But I still wanna restart and do a fists-and-magic-only run once my PC gets going again. And the online system is fantastic, I love seeing peoples' deaths or their ghosts walking around in real-time. I wanted to make a video collage of every bloodstain I could find where the guy gets knocked off a cliff.
More often than not, whenever I invaded anyone in Sen's Fortress I would spawn way up in the rafters above those long bridges. BEST AMBUSH SPOT EVER.

Runs pretty well thus far but it is definitely slow and could use some balancing (there's so many robots)foomanfat wrote:That's sitting in my wish list. I've become super apprehensive about buying into early access games.

Re: The Video Game thread
Tell me about it. I lost over a mil to some assclown blue spirit of vengeance invader in the Tomb of the Giants. Pretty much the worst place to be invaded FUCKING EVERRRR. I took about a 3-4 week break from the game. Just started again earlier this week. Already back up to a million and I have a ton souls that I found on bodies throughout the game that I've never used. My advice, join the forest hunter covenant and just invade people all day...which will also help with PvP skills. Also, If you need humanity. The depths is a great place to do so. Start from the bonfire and run to the group of rats in that first corridor. You can get a shitload that way. I think my count is over 80 hard/soft humanities. Sometimes you can get 4-5 in one run when you boost your item discovery with 10+ humanity & the gold serpent ring.Achtane wrote:Losing all your souls is the WWWOOOOORRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT though. Also, I was not aware that +1ing those messages gives the writer humanity. I feel like such a dick now.
