Yeah I much prefer talking video games here over anywhere else
I like it because there's usually a more balanced opinion on things.

I didn't like GTA5, I loved Shadowrun and I thought that the Devil May Cry was a decent enough time sink. I don't need to worry that I'll get 10 quotes telling me to fuck off. :)

Honestly the GTA games hold no appeal to me, I'm just bored of them. Can never get in to them when I play :idk:
Except San Andreas, but that's more nostalgia.

Tomb Raider has been fixed, it's a fun ride but I don't love it, 7.5/10.

I was having too many Graphic problems with it so I stopped. Also found the storyline funny, not in the way it was intended
NSFW: show
Having a problem with killing someone but then ends up in a cave full of desecrated human remains and Lara not having a problem with it. I dont know how there could be that many humans around on a desert island (asside from Bandits to make that much of a bloodbath.

Nit picking yes, but Farcry 3 did it miles better
Side note, the gameplay footage for the game Contrast looks really really good.

Haven't played Far Cry but I was hoping combat would be more visceral and sparse going in to TR. I was hoping for more of a gritty survival story. I think they did an OK job with Lara. In the game I like and care about her and she feels relatively more human than a lot of other game characters. The combat just completely takes you out of it.

I remember seeing press for Contrast a while ago and I think I might pick that one up.

Finished Bioshock Infinite for the second time. Liked it much more than the second time, though it's just as depressing as it was the first playthrough.

THIS.

If I started San Andreas now, I probably wouldn't be too in to it but it was definitely an amazing experience. Plus when it came out I was at the age where I would have to borrow it from a friend and pause it whenever my parents saw me playing it. I'd always tell them I was playing a racing game
There was a badass factor to it for me.

Could not get into Oblivion at all and got tired of Skyrim quickly. Open World games have so much exploring and opportunity in them but Fallout is the only one that has really resonated with me :idk:

You Sir, Are Being Hunted looks amazing though, might get in on that early access soon.

Oblivion felt amazing when I first played it, but once you've seen one dungeon/cave/castle you've seen them all.
Best parts of skyrim were the environments and being able to shout people off of cliffs. It's so empowering when you get level 3 of it and can yell giants to death.
I can't bring myself to give a shit about the storylines or most NPCs in either one, though.

Oblivion's had some pretty awesome quests but most of the story lines in Skyrim were pretty shit. Skyrim definitely doesn't compare to Morrowind in that department either.

The Stanley Parable is fun and interesting but I don't know if I can recommend a game that took about 90 minutes to play (at a snail's pace). I mean at the current sale price ($12), it's certainly more worth your money than 2 Venti Lattes at Starbucks but not everyone would agree. Wait for a price drop unless you like funny art experiments.

A friend gave me Dust: An Elysian Tail and it's pretty fun actually.

I don't know what to play.

I should try Dragonage again, but was never able to get into it the first time.
